Bengals are set apart from other breeds by their exotic pattern and type.  There are varieties of pattern and color, and type is subject to interpretation.

• large eyes
• convex profile
• deep, well finished chin
• light and non-ticked background color
• large rosettes set on a horizontal flow
• rosette outlines as dark as possible
• no rib bars
• spotted legs - front and back
• short, soft, tight-fitting coat with a glass-like finish
• high degree of glitter
• long, low-set body that creates a wild walk
• thick tail, carried low
• intelligent, sweet, interactive temperament
• purrs when handled
• makes biscuits with front paws when in a show stretch!
