To ensure our Bengals are in optimum physical health, we feed our cats and kittens a raw food diet.  Visit our Articles page for our recipe.

Litter

We use environmentally-friendly World's Best. This fantastic litter is 100% corn and clumps for easy scooping.  It's safe for kittens (no clay) and keeps the bottom of our litterboxes dry.

Health

We believe it's healthier for kittens to stay with their mothers for as long as possible, so we don't wean until at least 10 weeks of age.

To keep our adults and kittens parasite-free, we worm with Baycox and Panacur.  Aults and kittens are tritrichomonas negative and FeLV/FIV negative.

Yearly HCM screening of our Boys and Girls helps to ensure that we produce healthy kittens.

Activity

To keep in fantastic muscular condition, our Bengals love to run on their cat wheels.  We can't thank Roger enough for providing us with the best cat wheels in the world.

We have a large interactive outdoor play area for our Bengals daily socialization.  The play area allows our Bengals to interact with each other in fresh air and bask in sunshine.  They chase bugs and watch birds.

Our indoor cattery rooms attach to spacious outdoor individual play areas that our Bengals access through kitty doors.  These outdoor play areas are covered and, on rainy days, our cats continue to enjoy dry access to their jumping shelves and fresh air.

Each indoor cattery has lots of natural light through large skylights and windows. Our kitten cattery has thermal heat under the tiled floor so it's warm everywhere the cats step.

In addition to the large interactive outdoor play area, and their individual cattery play enclosures, we bring our kittens and adults into our home every day for one on one play time and people bonding.

Altering

We are not against early spay/neuter, but at this time our veterinarian does not provide this service.  We recommend that our clients have their pet kittens altered between the age of 6 to 7 months.

Policy

We provide the following at our expense:

• FVRCP vaccines
• Microchip
• FeLV/FIV test

Occasionally, we also provide:

• UC Davis DNA Coat Color test to determine if an SBT kitten carries for Seal Lynx Point.

Most kittens are ready to leave for their new homes at 12 weeks of age.  Internationally-sold kittens are raised in our home until they are old enough to fulfill their country of import requirements.

We provide the TICA registration blue slip for show/breeder kittens at the time of sale, and registration for pet kittens after we receive veterinary proof that the kitten is altered.

Kittens are sold with a contract/guarantee, veterinary health certificate, 4-generation pedigree, and a copy of the parents' TICA Certified 5-Generation Pedigrees and current HCM Negative reports. 

Dazzledots kittens are guaranteed free of congenital defects for 1 year, and against FIP for 4 months. Pet kittens are guaranteed HCM negative for 3 years, and show/breeder kittens for 1 year.  Show/breeder kittens are guaranteed fertile for one litter.

We do not sell to homes where cats are allowed outdoor access without supervision, or where they are declawed.
